The Story.
There
lived a young man in a certain village. He had a strange hen. It laid a
beautiful golden egg every day. He sold it at a high price.
He wanted to
become very rich. But he was too impatient to wait for several months. He
killed the hen in order to get all the eggs in one day. But he was greatly
disappointed to see that it had only one. His hopes of becoming rich overnight
were all dashed to the ground.
Moral. It is no
use crying over spilt milk, (or) Haste makes waste.
