The Story.
There
lived a lion in a certain jungle. And a mouse lived in a hole nearby. One day,
the lion was fast asleep under the shade of a tree. The mouse climbed over his
body and began to run about. The lion woke up full of great anger. He was going
to kill it. But it begged for mercy. And he let it go.
A few days later,
the lion was caught in a hunter’s trap. He roared very furiously. The mouse
heard the roar and ran to the spot. Its heart was filled with pity to see him
in trouble. At once it began to gnaw the ropes. Before long, the lion was free
once again.
Moral. Even a
little creature may be of great help sometimes.
